How to: Quick-start a Fundraiser

Hello - I submitted requested information days ago. I’m seeking information on how to launch a fundraiser for a non-profit called the Prevention Council of Saratoga Springs, NY (The Prevention Council - Supporting Saratoga Families)

We have outgrown our facility and would like to own our own building to expand our services.

I have studied the goodbids.org site and see no information on how to begin the process of creating an auction.

Am I missing it?

I sit on the board of directors and would like to present this great idea for consideration.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Kind regards,
Dave Christensen

Hi Dave — Great question! GOODBIDS is not a publicly available tool, which is why you haven’t found any information on how to create an auction.

I will email you directly to give you more information about nonprofit partnerships.

Thanks for your interest!

I would also love more info about partnerships with Goodbids.

I submitted my nonprofits info a while back but haven’t received any other info.

Thanks so much!

Thank you so much!

Hello GOODBIDS,
I requested info. through the goodbids portal shortly after Seth was interviewed on Crazy Good Turns podcast with Frank Blake. I am hoping to learn how my nonprofit, Mountain Time Arts, might use GOODBIDS to support our work in the Rocky Mountain West. I applaud your work and am eager to learn more.
Thank you, Jim Madden

thanks @JimMTA

glad you came by.

Goodbids is on a hiatus as we work to get our ducks in a row before we onboard any new non-profits. We want to respect your time and be sure we can deliver what you need.

Stand by and we’ll update you by email when news arrives.

Thanks for leading.

I’m curious to know if a for-profit company, that wants to support a non-profit company, can invite the non-profit to use GoodBids? My company would offer new-in-the-box products in a series of auctions with proceeds going to the non-profit. These products proposed to being auctioned were “used” only to provide fitment engineering and install video demonstrations of our one-size-fits-most accessory product. The brand of the products and the brand of the charity are very much in alignment and within the same “tribe”. I’m very curious to hear how the GoodBids rolls out. It is a great idea.

thanks Scott

Goodbids is on hiatus right now, but we’ll update folks soon

thanks for the kind words
